Sometimes “church” can seem like a scary, intimidating and even judgmental place. Besides, who wants to wake up early on a Sunday morning, get all dressed up, and put on a “church” face?

Don’t worry. We know the feeling. That’s why we strive to continually create a comfortable and welcoming environment–you know, the kind where you actually enjoy being where you are. Below is a checklist to help you enjoy your first visit to Janesville Wesleyan.

    COME AS YOU ARE

We are a community of people who believes in the transforming love of God. This means that you don’t have to live up to some “standard” before you participate in our community. As God loves you in whatever circumstances of life in which you find yourself, so do we—and we mean it!

    WHEN TO COME

Although our Celebration Service does have a schedule, you won’t get funny looks if you’re not there on the dot.

Due to COVID-19, we are not having Sunday School and the Cafe is not open for coffee. However, please join us as we celebrate all that God has done in our lives at:

10:30 A.M. — Weekly Celebration Service

    WHAT TO WEAR

The short answer: whatever you want to wear is great! We don’t have a “dress code,” and there are no expectations for wearing your “Sunday best.” Throw on some jeans and tennis shoes, or don the 3-piece suit and tie: it’s all good.

    WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

For children up to 3 years of age, we have childcare available in our nursery from 10:15 A.M. – 11:45 A.M.  For children 3 and up, there is a Children’s Church at 10:30 following the celebration time.

*Due to Covid-19 we do not have nursery.

OK, THIS IS SOUNDING GOOD. BUT WHERE ARE YOU AGAIN?

Janesville Wesleyan is located at 967 Benton Ave right on the corner of Milton and Benton. Check out our map to get a better idea.
